Family Worship - Sundays at 9.30am
Family Service, Communion and fellowship. Everyone is welcome to our Sunday Morning Worship!
In our Service, Glory and Honour are given to our Heavenly Father, the name of Jesus is lifted high and the Holy Spirit is welcomed. This is a blended service, aimed at being inclusive of everyone.
Children are important to us, so during the service there is a ‘Children’s Talk’. The children then leave to attend K4C (Kids for Christ)
Holy Communion is celebrated every 2nd Sunday.
During the service you will learn about upcoming diary dates and can read about ongoing activities in the Newsletter. Large print song books are available and there is special seating for those with hearing impairment.
Morning tea is provided after the service; a great time to get to know each other.
There is a stir of excitement amongst our people! We love the Lord a little and want to love Him more.
Please join us.
Kids For Christ is a vital part of our church. The team of teachers are gifted at sharing the love of Christ to the children in our church.
They share an important role in the early spiritual development of our children while having fun with them. All the teachers have had current police checks and are updated regularly.
Kids 4 Christ runs every Sunday Morning during the school term.
All primary school age children are most welcome.
Naracoorte Uniting Church Fellowship is a small group who meet monthly. We usually meet on the 2nd Thursday each month.
Throughout a year we do many different and varied activities, some examples are: made cards, visited Van Leuven’s Chocolatier, hosted a combined regional celebration, organised a church service, viewed a video, enjoyed Morning melodies at Sir Robert Helpman theatre in Mt Gambier, shared a Communion service and organised the Tenebrae service. How’s that for a varied programme?!
Our group is smaller and the members older and so not able to hold big fund raising events as they have in past years, but the fellowship is still as special as we faithfully meet to encourage each other and learn and laugh a bit too!
A old program had these words printed on it:
To believe Christ will return – that is Faith
To expect to meet Him – that is Hope
To invite another to meet Him – that is Love
When this group meets we would welcome anyone to share with us, we’d love to have new members come and join us! Open to all, young and old, men and women.
Watch for announcements in the Newsheet!
Ida Knight served her Lord faithfully in this parish for many years. She was a keen bible student and avid reader of Christian literature. Ida encouraged and inspired others by sharing her knowledge through her love of Christ. Her collection of books was donated by her husband, Adrian, and forms the nucleus of the Ida Knight Memorial Library, established 1996
The library video and DVD collection is dedicated to the memory of Phoebe Langmore.
