MAN'S VIEW OF THIS WORLD

Choose you this day whom ye will serve . . . but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

BRAGGING ABOUT GOD

If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides,—so that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion.

UNHOLY, UNRIGHTEOUS, UNHAPPY

And so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

BLAME SOMEONE ELSE

The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

GOD IS SOVEREIGN

We are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.

GEARED INTO THINGS ETERNAL

Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God.

THE PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT

This Jesus . . . being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost.

WHEN PENTECOST CAME

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses.

RESPONDING TO THE SPIRIT

Quench not the Spirit. Hold fast to that which is good.
